my ugly 55g

just a picture of my ugly 55g complete with distracting reflections (which I checked for me )

55g-second year
no fillter
no water changes
no airstone.
no effort to organize, harvest, or make pretty the plants or substrate.


no lights

Only mechanical is a heater (necessary because it's on the back porch open to outside temperature)

tank is basically "untouched" except for cleaning glass to remove thin layer of algae every month. Which hopefully will subside as plants expand.

Very cool... other than the deck furniture... I was trying to figure out if there were fish toys in there or not, just nasty reflections.

I guess you can't really wait until dark and just use the tank light.
