Mostly loaches. Have bettas, severums, angels, barbs, black ghost knife, plecos, raphael and a few others. I'm more focused on snails lately so no new fish for now.

I have three Beonesox pike. I thought your fish looked similar. Do not know anything about African Pike. Looks neat! I will have to read a little about them.

Very nice! I don't suppose it hurts if I repost the snail pics I have. I posted it in Inverts sticky so it didn't get much publicity.
I don't keep pikes. Just not a fan of them.

Cool fish. Is it very active? I like the look of pike cichlids but most of the ones I've seen seemed pretty lazy for cichlids.

whats your reasoning behind keeping the water level an inch or so low? so the snail doesnt get out?

There is no telling yet if Taylor's snail is a male or female. Males have penis sheath. In this case, they won't utilize the space above waterline to lay their eggs. Many snails met their deaths when they fell from tanks while looking for their spawning sites. It is advisable to leave 2 inches of space above waterline and cover the tank although there are some cases where the snails simply do not go astray outside the tanks.
