Default Are my plants not getting enough co2?

In my Bowfront tank, I had 2 plants and 2 filters that are constant dumping water back into the tank.. Is that bad for the plants?

What if I took one filter out and then moved all the real plants to the opposite side.. would that help?

Should I just remove all the plants?

The answers depend upon what type of aquarium you want. Fish only, or fish and plants. If you have fish that co-exist with plants (don't eat them) then a planted aquarium will certainly be healthier for the fsh. What makes you think the plants are not getting enough CO2? What are the problems with the plants?

Probably a nutrient deficiency. But could be a light issue. Your original question about filtration (being too much) is also a possibility. You'll have to give more detail to help.

What is the light (assume fluorescent, but what is the name and wattage on the tube and how many tubes)?

What are the plant species?

How many and what type of fish?

Byron.
