my fish is not eating what can I do??:(

it has been almost 2 weeks and I have not seen him eat. what can I do? his belly is getting smaller and smaller why is he not eating? do fish get depressed when others die? the week Ayako died he began to loose alot of weight.

please help:(

Yes Leogtr, I think they do get depressed and grieve. I have seen the behavior several times after a fish dies, the mate or tankmate acts sad.
Have you tried a different food? Like blood worms, or brine shrimp?

Hope it all works out. Sorry you lost another one. I lost two last week... know how you feel.

how sad he/she is starving to death. I have tried alot of different things like shrimp, tilapia, carrots and peas, tiny pellets, omega 1 etc. the others love to eat but this little guy is just not taking anything..

not even food thats suppose to increase appetite is working.

I've never known a fish (unless it was ill with certain type of parasites) to turn down live blackworms. Are you able to find a LFS that sells them??

no they do not have blackworms..I got bloodworms to see if he/she will eat them..

the other fish already have swollen bellies from them...
