MTS - I am SO TORN (puffers)

To be honest Lisa I'd love the Puffer for being the puffers; but I'd be afraid if I get them and have questions (since brackish set up as as brand new to me as saltwater would be) I'd really have no place to turn. The Puffer subfroum here doesn't seem very active and the only one I know is Kelso and I'd not wanna bug him over it all the time int he beginning.
Then I found a 30g stocked with Tetra's which would be neat (because I want a 30g too) but I have to go to Nashville again tomorrow & Fri and meanwhile we're snowed in again so I donno when I'd even get a chance to look at that tank and/ or if it would still be there.....

All pretty discouraging ain't it

I understand your concern with the Puffers, although I'm sure Kelso would be more than willing to help you with whatever you need. That's what everyone is here for. Hopefully the puffers will find a good home.

Perhaps you can email the seller of the 30g when you'd have a chance to go see it and check to see if the tank is still available. If not, there are plenty of other delas I'm sure you will come across. You have an amazing eye for good deals!

So leaving the "off topic" stuff out. Aren't DP's sensitive? What if the tank that is for sale that Nat is looking at is not well kept? Add that to a move and setting up at her place then they die. Then you are where? With a new 55g sadness of DP deaths. But I'm a glass is half empty person. If a person is negative and something bad happens then it's no big deal. If a positive happens then you are happy. Just a tip from MH. Stay negative LOL

Just throwing out possible relms to deal with. It's just my usual luck is why I say these things. I personally prefer to start fresh and not take someone elses' problems. That is if his tank has problems. If it does plus moving etc... probably wipes the fish out. Or it's a great deal and absolutely everything goes perfect. 50/50 I guess eh?

He's selling cause they need to move - Been there & done that thanks to the Army and non my set ups where sick nor in poor condition.

Don't be discouraged. If we didn't throw some of the "other" out there we wouldn't be doing anyone a service.
I'm not a believer in everything being a rainbow pretty and perfect all the time. So I am the evil one who throws in some of the "what if" that opposes the good. That keeps it real and honest. Then you can weigh and debate and make up your mind. I should have named myself devil's advocate.
