When I looked up the filter I saw quite a few positive things, so I thought it would be worth checking out :)
I'll try a little Vaseline and see if that helps, thank you so much for the suggestion!
The background is actually black, he was using some UV bulb so the whole talk looks totally different. He had a bunch of green decorations and I assume that is because this light made them glow(the Eheim intake and output both glow like crazy under this light). I already got a new 6800k bulb to put in. I got some new hoses, new glass top, and a few other things. I am moving my office around and I am hoping to get it inside ASAP!
I can't wait.
