| | Moving Fish Across Country?
I have a 29 gallon tank with several bottom feeders and 2 leaf fish. We are moving in a few months will be driving 3 days to get there. What is the best way to take these guys? I've been been doing research and there are several methods some using styrofoam containers others using large plastic containers. Also just not sure on how to keep everything "steady". I was thinking using a battery powered air pump while in the car and keep whatever they are in insulated with blankets. The car should stay at a fairly steady temp in the 70's. Then just leave the air pump and plug a heater in at night at hotels and not feed until they are back in the tank. This is about as far as I have gotten. We have already rehomed our entire 55 gallon tank with fish so I would really like to take these guys since we already rehomed the others. All advice is welcome. Thanks!
