OK, am going to suggest another fish.

Metriaclima callainos - Cobalt Blue Zebra - A group of 1 maile to 6-8 female would work in a 55g tank.

You would need the females as this is an aggressive fish.

Both will be aggressive with prey, more so the Red Devil.

A red devil will eat a whole range of food, small fish, earthworms (NOT from your garden though), snails and insects.
They do not do well in planted aquariums as they tend to eat the plants, if you dont have hardy plants, then offering lettuce, boiled peas and other vegetables MUST be fed into it's diet.

You would also not want to feed too many live food as it is an opportunity feeder which means it does not get a ready supply in the wild.

Black Piranha can be kept alone, but absolutely need a 100g+ as they get to 16"

Reading up a bit, I am just curious how a Red Devil would do in a tank with a shoal of Tiger Barbs.. I am guessing that night by night one by one of the barbs would go missing..?

And you cannot keep one Red Belly by itself, they need a group?

Red Devil once old enough would make a quick meal of the tiger barbs.

No Red Belly need to be in groups and as mentioned, your tank is NOT big enough to house them.
Please really consider not keeping Piranha.

If you really want Piranha , then get a bigger tank.

It seems if you want aggressive fish you have to go large. You could always go salt water and see what you can do there....those smaller fish are agggggresive.
