Look what I got :D

Finally got the call from my friend last night to pick up the 55 gallon tank.
I'm so excited! It came with an Emperor 400 Power Filter, Aqueon 200w heater, one 24 inch light, two 24 inch lids, 60lbs of Tahitian Moon substrate, and the stand.
I need to purchase one more light and another heater. Oh and I really, REALLY need a hose to fill it with... my husband and I filled it with 5 gallon buckets last night. Let me tell you, that was fun *sarcasm*
I would like to replace the current lids with probably versa tops and the HOB filter with a canister at some point.

Still planning the South American/Amazonian theme. Got some really great info from a LPS about ordering fish and plants. Now I just have to save some money to sink into this baby :D

PS If anyone knows anything about Mystery Snails, would you mind checking my post in the inverts forum? I wasn't sure where else to post it, and I'm really worried about him and can't seem to find any information on the problem.

She is a pretty great friend, even if she did get me addicted to fish keeping. She gave me the ten gallon I have (including Falkor), and now she is selling me this one since she upgraded to a 150 gallon monstrosity.

Very, very exciting - and a great deal! I have TMS in almost all of my tanks, it's so pretty (even if fishy poo shows up way to easily on it) I can't wait to see where this tank goes, it's going to be phenomenal!!! Any ideas on stocking yet?

Right now my plans for stocking are:
10-12 Ember Tetra
10-12 Green Fire Tetra
8-10 Cory Cats (still debating between Peppered, Julii, Panda, or Skunk OR a mix of two of these)
8 Otos
possibly a Farlowella
Plants:
Amazon Sword, Corkscrew Vals, Jungle Vals, Chain Sword, Melon Sword, Ruffle Sword, Brazilian Pennywort and Water Sprite, Cabomba, and Ludwiga.
Not necessarily all of these, but you get the idea. It really depends on what's available from my LPS when I get ready to order.
Here is my crazy sketch I drew for it. It started as just a doodle, but I really got into it cuz it was REALLY slow at work that day LOL.
