Hey I have a 40 gallon tank too that's not in use
| You could probably keep the African cichlids in the 30 gallon and the others in the 40 gallon. This would only be a short term solution while they are small though because as the Red Devils and Blood Parrot mature there will be more aggression toward each other and you'll have to either get a very large tank or re-home them. You might be able to get away with 1 red devil in a 40 gallon but I'm not sure. What are the dimensions of the 40 gallon? Quote: |
Oh, forgot to ask you something I turned the lights out and these fish have been playing for hours. Is this weird that their not resting/sleeping?
| LOL I don't know...my fish are also active when their tank light is out but the room lights are on (Especially the cories and the pleco). It's probably when the room is completely dark that they finally catch somes zzzzs.
