I've got growth!

well I appear to have two types of algae growing in my tank...or at least i think it's algae. One type is green, and one is yellowish brown. The only place I can see it is on top of one of my tank decorations, so it's not like there is a lot of it. I was just wondering what info you guys could give me on the different kinds of algae and what they require in terms of maintenance.

Could you post a pic? It's hard to describe them as there are several types of algae found in the tank?
