Shame your store treated you that way. I'm glad Big Al's treats you better. I'm in Ottawa and the Big Al's we go to is great. The staff are much more knowledgeable than our "other" local fish store. They actually seem to keep fish. I also find their stock to be healthier and hardier. We have 26 fish from Big Al's, NONE have died on us yet. I bought 5 fish at the "other" store, 3 died in the first two weeks. The clerk terrorized them getting them out of the tank. I should have just walked away, but the fish were on sale, and I was in idiot. Free advice: Cheap fish aren't a great deal if they're dead. ;)
