I have two questions!!!

1) Is there a good fish care magazine that I can subscribe to? Any suggestions? Preferably one that has health/cleaning tips and stuff that can help me as a new tank owner.

2) I am going to a fish expert today. Can anybody think of any good questions to ask him that I may think up later? I've covered vacuuming, fish per gallon, some water change stuff, some fungus, and decor set up.

And I have a couple of good answers. As far a magazine covering what you want, I know of none. But, Tropical Fish Hobbiest Magazine(TFH) is the foremost peiodical on the market for the hobbiest. Others include Fish, Freshwater and Marine Aquariuns(FAMA), and Aquarium Magazine.There is a papeback book called "Aquariums for Dummies" that is a good handbook for the beginner.

Ask your "expert" about filtering, fish compatibility, testing water, recommended test kits(if he doesn't recommend liquid test kits, he's not worth his salt, and you should take any input as such), routine maintainance, lighting, live plants and their care, diseases and treatment, to name a few subjects. But, you can find all of that information right here on the forum.

Please post what the "expert" tells you. I am interested in what they have to say.
