How to remove scratches

Hi All,

Anyone experts with some ideas on how I could remove some scratches on the inside of the tank? I must've cleaned it with a scrubber that was too rough or had some dirt/copper wire, now my tank is full of scratches.

It is very light, I tried running my fingers on top of it and I can barely feel it but it is still very noticable.

Recently, a few days ago I tried the Toothpaste method and it doesn't work. Is there any home remedy or something I could buy (I do not have a buffer tool).

Im going to guess since you tried the toothpaste method, that we are talking about glass.
Cerium Oxide is what you need. And a buffer.
If the tank is Acrylic:
Novus Acrylic Polish

Note to self: don't use scrubbers.

Hope you get it cleaned up.

Our glass cleaning rule: don't go near the substrate with the cleaning tool. Sand is nasty on glass.
