Sounds good. I'll admit, when I first started, I used 10 Tetras to cycle. Bad move, most died and the ones that didn't fought eachother until they had no fins left and the filter sucked them in. It was terrible to see living things suffer like that. One would never think it being new to the hobby, but since ornamental fish are often observed for hours at a time, one begins to sympathize with the agony they are most likely going through (fish do feel pain afaic. Their behavior is utter proof of this). Ever since those Tetras succumbed to my immature tank, I make sure that my water parameters are of the highest quality and it's my priority throughout my daily life. These are living things, they only have one shot at life, I'd prefer my haste and impatience, as well as ignorance, to not be the reason they missed it. : /
