This may be in the wrong forum but how much should I feed my ADF's? I've had them since Saturday and they just now ate today. They each ate one bloodworm. I also have frog pellets which they haven't eaten yet. How much and how often should I try and feed them?
I've been there and done that with these little buggers.
Take a small clove of garlic and add it to a little of the tank water for about 1/2 hour. Then soak the pellets in that for 5 mins. or so before you feed the frogs. They locate their food by smell more than sight. Feed them two pellets each once a day but give them time to locate the pellets. If they haven't eaten within 2 or 3 hours, remove the pellets and try again later. Eventually they will eat them.
Feed the bloodworms as a treat once or twice a week in place of the pellets.
Yeah my tank is around 78 degrees. They live with my bettas. I have a 10 gallon divided tank and I have an ADF in 2 of the sections. The one sits at the bottom and hides under things half the time and the other half the time swims and climbs. The other one was hiding for a while but now just floats at the top of the tank looking like he's dead.
