I have a 20 gallon tank, and I usually do water changes of about 25%. I have a 2.5 gallon bucket, so I use it twice to pull water out, and twice to put water back, for a 5 gallon water change.
My question is this: What tips do you have for measuring liquids, such as water conditioner, where the directions say to add 10ml for 10 gallons (using the included cap)? 10ml is the smallest increment on the cap, and it's hard to judge what 1/4 of that would be, for 2.5 gallons. I considered using an eyedropper, but that would only be effective while the liquid in the bottle is high enough for the eyedropper to reach.
Not a huge problem, but wondering how you deal with this.
Just had an idea as I was typing this. It would be easier to approximate 5ml, rather than 2.5, and then I could add a larger volume of water to that, then cut that amount in half. Then use that half amount in the 2.5 gallon bucket.
