How to embed youtube videos

Can anyone tell me How to embed youtube videos?

Would be appreciated. i CAN NOT find a guide etc ANYWHERE on this site........

If you put the link in the post the site is supposed to automatically embed the video. I tried it once and it worked, but it hasn't worked again since for me.

Youtube used to have this option to format the link into a certain way. I used to do that to get the videos to format here. Since they took that away I've become equally clueless as OP.

Well there's gotta be a way to do it since SOOO many ppl have them like that in their post. Would LOVE to know how???? Someone Please share the secret!!???!!!?? LoL Pretty Please!

OK, they all work but open a new window, no embedding.

Here from admin after I failed my first attempt and asked:

"While I'm not certain which files the forum will currently accept as attachments and would have to check, the way members typically ad videos to their posts is to upload the video to YouTube and then simply paste the link to the YouTube video in a post. The forum software converts the link to an embedded video for other members to see right in your post."

It doesn't appear to be working currently.

it has embedded it on the dwarf puffer thread......YET....these show up......so im CONFUSED.
