how come my Balloon Belly Mollies keep on dieing?

I had 4 of them, not all at the same time. 2 died aready in a 3 month span. The two that died are males. They just stay at the bottum and or go up to the top of the tank and suck air in. I have a air rock. then they loose a lot of weight and its really sad. Now, I have only 2 females. IM really afraid they will die soon also, because they both been doing the same thing the previous fish have done. They eat and there is no sign of ick. I tested everything, nirtates, nitrites, chlorine,ph,ammonia, and alkaline, acidic. and thats is, the temerature is 78 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please tell me is I am doing somthing wrong.

It would really help if you could state exactly what the water parameters are, and is your water alkaline or acidic?

What is your tank maintenance schedule and how much/often do you do partial water changes? If it is the same 10g. tank as in your profile, I do think you are a little overstocked and the filtration you have may not be sufficient.
