Some ryukins are fine, some are not. It depends. Ryukins in my experience tend to peck anyone with temptingly large eyes. It's quite a gamble. Orandas, on the other hand, are absolutely fine with telescopes. | The pandas I seen at my LFS were only $7.99. What do you mean as far as spending alot? Diet?
Also yes Orandas are nice, but, they get fairly large. What tank size do you need for them?
