Help mark on outside of tank

Hi
need some help ive tried everything
there are some marks on the front of my tank they dissaper when wet but come back as soon as they dry.

if the tank is glass then use a new and sharp razor blade to scrape the offending marks off.... however if the tank is perspex..... we need to know hats caused the marks!

its a glass tank will try a razor blade tonight.

This will work (well, depending what the mark is from) but be careful as this can scratch glass too.

Did you use a flat blade like a glass scraper? Can pick them up at a dollar store usually.

Hello nunnbetter1983;
I have been reading the post about your problem are you sure it’s a mark on the outside of the tank and not a scratch.
Ole school tells me to rub ivory bar soap over the mark and if the mark disappears then it might be a scratch if the mark is enhanced then there is something on the glass or there is a scratch on the inside of tank.. When a razor blade fails to work try using toothpaste and soft cloth to buff the mark out. Auto-glass repair shop might be helpful too.

You could always turn the front of the tank to face the wall and re decorate if the mark bothers you much.
