help with the gravel please.

hay guys.
i've emptied my tank as we are decorating,and laying a new floor,so
the tanks moved out into the hall,and fish and filter running separately from the tank.
all that remaind in the tank is the gravel,now it's going to be minim a week empty,
i can't remove all the MT snails,it's impossible,are they going to die and stinck
out my gravel ?

Why not scoop the gravel into a 5g bucket and keep well covered with water?

will that be enough to stop the snails dieing. ?
or shall i just put a little back water in the tank.

I think I would just add a little water back to the tank. Just enough so there is a little water covering the gravel.

Yea those snails are resilient little buggers, they should do fine with just a little water.

this is how it looked this morning
and then i fancied a change,and the bag inside the tank has wet plants in.
what do you think,it wouldn't really go with the floor if i left it black and silver.the towel is to keep the dust off.

and sorry about the quality of the photos,theres something wrong with
this iPhone ,i needed a new back because i dropped it and it shattered,now the camera
