So as of right now I have 2 fish tanks. They are both 29g but different dimensions. The reason I have 2 small tanks and not 1 large tank right now is because I am renting a tiny house and there is barely any room!
but.. I just bought my first home and will be moving in the first part of January. The first thing I'd like to do after we are settled in is start the hunt for an aquarium big enough to combine my 2 tanks.
Here are my 2 tanks as of now:
My first aquarium New 29g planted log
I dont think I would have any issues with the stock as of now. I have across both the tanks:
12
Glowlight Tetra
11 rummynose tetra
9
Cochu tetra
5
Apistogramma cacatuoides (Juveniles)
6
Oto Catfish (3 per tank)
2 mystery snails
3 panda corys
3 bronze corys
3
Salt and Pepper Cory
3
Three Line Cory
What I am thinking is that I may return the
Cochu's. It will be hard because I have had them the longest, but I know they are rowdy fish and that might not work with the rummynose or the cichlids. Any thoughts?
I want to get AT LEAST a 55 gallon tank. With a 55g,
am I fully stocked or will I be able to get a few new additions?
The pH of my water now is around 7 and I have soft water. My other concern is the change in the water. I am only moving about 15 minutes from where I am now, but it is a different city. I couldn't find anything online about water hardness.
Is it possible the water is the same?
