Have I got a big enough tank for 6 cardinals?

Hi I asked my partner to get 2 honey or dwarf gouramis and he came back with 7 cardinal tetras! my tank is 63l. 60cm long, 30cm wide and 35cm tall is the tank big enough? Also one of the tetras blue line wasn't glowing when it got home, it was dark blue with a tiny bit of glow by his head, he didn't last an hour before he went belly up (very sad) do they lose their glow when they're sick? or could it be he was just distressed? the other 6 are doing great bn in tank 1day/night. It might help to know what else is in the tank, just 3 cherry barbs. Also will I still be able to get 2 honey gouramis or will the middle of the tank be 2 crowded?

I think the tank is perfect for the 7 cardinals as long as you keep up with water changes/water tests. Just make sure you have enough hiding places in the tank.
