I checked and checked around the tank and couldnt find her. finally i checked under the table holding the aquarium...
to my horror, i found her there... i was about to grab her when i could still barely see her fins and gills moving. i hurried and grabbed her with a net (hands to big to wedge under the table bottom) and reeled her in. i hurried and dumped her back in the tank and she had so much dust and lint all over her body! i used a turkey baster to shoot water at her, which fortunately cleaned her up nicely. her eyes look cloudy and she looks worn out. i fed her and she readily ate.
do you think she will be ok? she was out on the carpet for at least 5 min! i dont know how shes still alive honestly. she appears to be pregnant too! | Check you water parameters to see that nothing bothered her enough to drive her out of the tank. Another reason may be she was spooked by the light being turned on abruptly. These are the only two reasons I can think about. During my cycle I had fish constantly jump out and now everything is stable and nothing has jumped out.
