Fluval Edge Light Upgrade

I was planning on adding another 10watt halogen bulb in the middle of the two on the light bar, or completely changing the lights out. Has anyone tried it or have any ideas on what to do?

Halogens get awfully hot. I'm not sure how the lighting system works on those Edge tanks. Are the stock lights halogens, or are they fluorescents/compact fluorescents?

Stock lights are halogens. They get warm, but not enough to change water temp.
