Well I have been rinsing it out in aquarium water during water changes, but it has gotten to the point where it is almost falling apart... so I figured I should change it before it does.
I tried squeezing the both cartridges into the filter but it overflows the filter.
I have Tetras, Angelfish, Plecos and a few platys.
If I just change it and watch the tank for a bit (monitoring ammonia), and changing the water if needed then it would be okay?
