I only put in 5 or 6 shrimp pellets because they were originally only for the corys since they sink. Does anyone see this as a problem? |
I have Dwarf Rainbows, who don't eat off the bottom, but they grab (fast) whatever is in their sight, and tend to grab sinking shrimp pellets, and than swim around holding them in their mouth, waiting to have them soften up. I've heard to soak shrimp pellets a bit, before putting them in the tank, so I've started to do that, and I sometimes use my hand to place them at the bottom.
