| | Feeding blocks for vacations
I'm going away for a week and I've never used those feeding blocks. I was tempted to purchase one of those electric automatic feeders but I have a problem with flake food. My tank is heavily planted and when I use flake food, much of it ends up in the plants which I definitely don't like.
I just use four types of frozen food and rotate them through, less wastage and the fish love it. So how effective are those feeding blocks. I'm worried my Glow Lights won't clue into it but I guess starvation is a wonderful teacher. Glow Lights don't seem to pay much attention to the substrate like other fish.
Do the one week block feeders work well? I'll be gone roughly one week or slightly less.
