don't forget to watch your fish!

sometimes the fun and relaxation in my aquariums gets lost in all the disasters and problems. so busy wondering if everything i am doing is correct, i often forget to just sit and observe them! this morning, my 7 fish in my 30 gallon tank appeared to be playing an elaborate game of 'tag'! at first i thought they were fighting or something was wrong (i am the eternal pessimist), but after watching for several minutes, i realized that they were just some fish having fun!

I love to just sit and watch them for a while! After all - that's why we get into the hobby in the furst place! :D

I really enjoy watching the fish at night under the moon lights. They seem to act different and after just a little while your eyes adjust and you can see just fine and its cool to see how they act when they cant see you.

You should watch your fish, it will help you see when there is a problem with them. The first month they are in the tank is specially critical. Plus, they are just fun to watch. :) My barbs in both my shark (tiger barbs) and in my community (cherry barbs) tnks love playing tag. :)

i totally agree,sometimes i find i am very
ingrossed with making sure everything is
ok between the two tanks,and don't feel
i'm getting very far,the OH reminds me
to sit and chill,and then i see how beautiful the fish
really are.
