| | Decoration question
I was at my local Petco yesterday picking up some more algae wafers for my cories and scoping out replacement lighting. I came across some really nice log hidey-hole decorations for reptiles on clearance for $3. These are usually $17, so naturally I had to pluck one up, as I am planning to get a leopard gecko in the near future.
Now here's the question. Would it be safe to put this in my aquarium? It's about 10x4 inches, so it would make a great hiding place for larger fish. It's from the brand Kritterz if you can't read the tag in the photo. I'm assuming that being safe for reptiles, it should be safe for aquariums, but I wanted to ask here before I put it in. Will it be fine, or should I keep it in reserve for the gecko?
Thanks a lot. |
