I agree with Andrew,unless the tank is heavily planted,, there should be some nitrAtes in a cycled tank with healthy biological filter.
Is very difficult to not have nitrate reading otherwise.
Would also try lowering the temp to around 75 degree's F which would be more comnfortable for the cory's and have no negative effect on other fishes mentioned.
Small pellet food's offered at night after light's off for the day will make it easier for the cory's to feed without other fishes grabbing most of the food.
Ammonia and nitrites must test zero all day,every day, and weekly 35 to 50 % water changes will benefit the fish.
