Converting a saltwater setup to freshwater

Hello all Im new to FishForum and I've got a few questions.

I currently have a 90 gallon tank that was formerly used for a saltwater setup however I would like to convert back to freshwater and create a cichlid tank. What are some of the first things I need to do, replace, remove?

I have a sump setup now and would like to keep that as my filtration and use in the same fashion but I don't know if that will be a problem. I know I've gotta run the tank and remover all saltwater and remnants beforehand but is there somewhere I can go to find out exactly what else I need to do?

The link talks about converting from freshwater to saltwater tank. Do you have any info about converting a saltwater tank to freshwater tank?
