I do windows to add extra money for my critters. Horses, dogs, cats and will be adding fish. the area I live in has Very Hard water. Often when I do windows, they have water spots that just won't come off with the regular window cleaning stuff, so I spray with a mix of white vinegar and water, bout half and half, let it soak, rinse, respray in needed, before using the regular cleaner, my mop and squeege.
Since it is plexi glass, if you have something you can soak it in warm solution of white vinegar and water, for five to ten minutes. then use a white scubber on it. Not the green, it will scratch your plexi. If there is a dollar tree or .99 cent store, try and find a white scrubber there. Not the one with the sponge on one side, usually there are chemicals in the sponge part. Just to be safe, MO. If it has never been done, it will take several times of this process to get the layers off safely. You can even use straight white vinegar on the first time. Just as everyone says, make sure you rinse it repeatedly and let air dry. Let us know how it goes. penfin
