Centerpiece Fish Or Pair

Hi,
I want a colourful pair of fish or even maybe just one really really nice one for my 10 gal aquarium. It is kept at 77 degrees. Sand bottom. PH of 7-7.1, Planted and yeah. All the parameters are good. The inhabitants are 5 peppered cories, that spend most of their time wandering around the bottom, on some plants leaves and stuff. Is there any fish or a pair is what I really want that swim in the top and middle of the tank. They need to be bright, something really beautiful to steal the show! I am just wondering because my last resort would be some tetras as a dither fish.

Ever thought about a smaller gourami? Like a Dwarf Gourami? Though, in a 10 gallon, may be better just keeping one. I always like gouramis, especially the smaller ones such as powder blue, or dwarfs.
