| | Biorb for betta?
Hi this sounds like a really silly question but I really need some help to avoid mistakes I've made in the past.
I currently have a 10g tank running with puffers but due to some inexperience on my part made it start cycling again by swapping tanks and substrate. Thankfully my puffs made it through and we have survived the cycle. I've been bitten by this fish keeping bug and I'd like now to set up a 30l biorb with a betta. To start off my cycle before adding the Betta do I take some of the sand from my puffs tank and add it to the biorb, add some plants and add a good squeeze from my established filter? Will this set it going and how do I keep it going without adding the Betta yet? Also by doing this will it interupt my cycled tank? So don't want my puffs to cycle again.
Also is there any other fish I could put in the biorb or is it too small and only big enough for the Betta?
Many thanks in advance, Jane
