As I said previously, this is the species I think it is; identifying Echinodorus is not easy sometimes. This genus of plants, which are actually amphibious bog plants and not true aquatic plants, have a submersed and emersed leaf form that can vary a lot. Flowers occur when grown emersed, and it is often necessary to examine the flowers in order to ascertain the exact species. Grown aquatic (submersed) some species will not usually flower.
When I wrote the profile, I did a fair bit of digging through botanical texts to try and find the correct species name; but I can't guarantee it. Common names are not usually very helpful, as they may only be "common" to the person using them.
