| | Ah, crud!
Bugger me! I was a little lax with my filter maintenance (usually do my canister once a month, was a couple of weeks late this time) and I discovered that a Kuhli Loach had found it's way into it, despite my precautions. It didn't make it. Now, I am having issues with fungus and bacteria! I've lost 2 of my platinum angels. :(. So far I've been doing 50% water changes every 2 days and just generally keeping things as clean as possible. I want to try to avoid meds because here in Australia we seem to be limited as to what we can get. :(. No maracyn for us! Argh!
I haven't lost a fish to something like this for years. This is so depressing! I've had this one tank up and running for almost 4 years without issue and just cause I didn't get around to it, I've lost some of my babies. SO, don't EVER get lax with your maintenance!
