If I were you, I would put some small sandwitch bags of ice in the hob filter. Try to set it up so that the water flows through the media then around the bag of ice. If you have ice packs those would work best. My 55gal hit 90* due to a heater malfunction. I brought it down quite quickly within an hour or two to 84*, It took a LOT of ice. I floated mine in the tank and was kinda worried about all the cold water it was producing around it my GBR, tetras, and other fish all seemed fine with it though.
