6500k lighting 'green'?

yeah that green is why I like to use higher kelvin then often suggested. The bulbs you have look pretty bad but all 6500K to me has a greenish hue, some bulbs more then others. The color depends a lot more on the spectrum then the kelvin temp. I would try a different brand of bulb.

If they are 15 watt bulbs I would find a walmart with a fish section. They sell a GE FW&SW bulb at 9325K which is my favorite bulb to use. The bulb looks a bit pink, but gives a nice white light and doesn't washout red and blue colors. Plants look a more natural green and not over saturated.
