29 gallon stocking ideas?

I have a 29 column. Tank with nothing in it I would like to have some rosy barbs and a couple other fish but no idea on the other fish?
What do you guys think?

As per the Rosy Barb profile, (click on the name) "Lively but peaceful fish that will normally do well in a larger aquarium with similar-sized non-aggressive fish such as other barbs, rasbora and loaches. Must be kept in a group of at least six. Not suitable for slow, sedate fish because of its active swimming. Tankmates however must be able to manage with the lower temperatures this species prefers.... It recommends a 36" long tank. I believe 29 gallon tanks are 30". This may not be an issue, however, others would know more, I have never kept Rosys. Partly because the lower temperature they require can limit potential tankmates.

Do you have other fish tanks? Have you "cycled" your new tank?

A 29 column...? Is that vertical in shape? Can you give us the dimensions noting the Height, Depth, and length. Thanks.
I kept 6 Rosy Barbs in a 75 gallon which is 48 inches long. These fish made use of every inch of that tank and at break neck speeds. lol. They are ACTIVE swimmers to say the least.
A slower more sedate fish may be needed in this style of tank.... can you elaborate more for us?

I will take measurements of the tank later today. It's been cycling for about a month now. And if not rosy barbs what should I put in there?

It's dimensions are 23 inches wide 24 inches long and 14 inches high

Some fish I keep in a 24" tank are Harlequin Rasbora, Neon Tetra, Platy, Guppy, Corydoras, and Nerite Snail. Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish could also work, and are beautiful. Kuhli Loach is another possible bottom feeder, though you will probably see the Corys more.

Ok thx I am going out to go buy some Cory's later I'm thinking some emerald Cory's would look nice so I'm probally gonna get a school of 6?

Its also the minimum tank size for angels.

Personally, I like Dwarf Gourami, rasboras, and loaches... Cherry barbs could also work.

Ok so I went against ,y better judgement and went ahead and got rosy barbs anyway and if they don't work out in this tank I will move them
