Would adding a micron filter hurt tank cycling?

I plan on adding a powerhead to my tank, and would also like to attach a micron filter. I'm curious though if I should wait to do this until the tank has fully cycled. Would adding the micron filter affect the helpful bacteria development in any way?

It will more than likely have no affect at all. The micron filter might grow some bacteria on it, but definately won't hinder it.

Add it, it should actually help to grow more bacteria and speed the cycling process
