Will be away from home - Temperature, lightning and food??

Hi all

As subject suggests I will be abroad for a week. I usually take care of the lightning, temperature and food needs myself but now I am at a loss on how to do. Any ideas how I can automate these essentials?

I got some weeks chance left. At the moment got only some yoyo loaches and guppies in my aquarium. You can take a look at YouTube - My new aquarium [added guppies and yoyo loaches]

Thanks

Put the lights on a timer (ten bucks at lowe's). Temperature should remain stable if heater is working properly.
Fish will be fine for a week without food.
Would Feed the fish regular amount of food and then perform water change just before I left.
Would perform another water change upon my return and feed fish regular amount of food.
Guppies and loaches will snack on pieces of plant matter and will be fine.

if you're really worried about food, there are automatic fish feeders. I've never used one though

The feeder work wonders just ask them for the type that has a timer and can feed different amounts of food for the fish :-d

Agree on the timerfor the lights and heater. you shouldn't really have to adjust the heater once the temperature is stable anyway. As for the feeder, when I went away on my wedding/honeymoon for 10 days, I purchased this. It worked great.

Automatic Fish Feeder - Food - Fish - PetSmart

That being said, healthy fish can go 7 days without eating.
