Question Upgrading filter question

I have an Aqua Clear 50 on my 29g planted and am ready to get a canister. I was thinking the EHEIM Classic 2213. Is this what I should buy?

I got the 2213 on my 55g's. Would pers find it a bit too strong for a 29g planted. If I was to hook mine up to the 30g I'd use the valve system and dial it down half way.
Alternatively I just got a cascade internal filter for my 30g here http://www.petsolutions.com/Cascade-...02431+C21.aspx I bought the Model 300 for my 30g which will after gravel and all be about 25g water with filtration of 70gph that turns my tank over almost 3x per hours which is plenty enough for my personal taste.
I have the same internal filter on my 45g just the Model 600; which on its lowest setting is still VERY powerful for a 45g lol

Eheim's are good don't get me wrong; just wanna point out other quiet & good options for smaller planted tanks.

2213 seems like plenty on my 30 and my 55, completely silent and keep the fish happy.

Everyone has a different opinion about what is "enough", many will say you need as much flow as possible, and to get a BIG filter, such as a 2217, or even TWO filters.

In the end, it depends on how many fish you have, how heavily planted your tank is, etc.

8) 30 gallon w/ Diamond Tetras and White Clouds, EcoComplete w/ Anubias and Cabomba, Eheim 2213 and 18 watts of lighting.

8) 55 gallon w/ Senegal Bichir and large Pleco, EcoComplete w/ Anubias, Eheim 2213, and 30 watts of lighting.

8) 75 gallon w/ Cardinal, Serpae and Black Skirt tetras, cories, danios, Pearl gouramis and yoyo loaches, EcoComplete heavily planted with Anubias, Eheim 2215, and 30 watts of lighting.
