Unsure about my heater.....

For some reason, my 10G fogs up the cieling of the tank and i'm curious.
Does this happen with everyone's tanks?
Is this a heater problem?
If it is a heater problem, would it call for a less powerful heater?
The heater is a 75W, as suggested by you guys....... So, im stumped here.

Much appreciated :)

My glass canopies always have a decent amount of condensation on the insides. If it's happening with your tank, you know you're on the right track because the condensation means that the canopy is helping to control evaporation. If you don't already have one, I suggest you get a thermometer for the tank so you know it's at the correct temperature. Either the floating glass type with the suction cup or the stick-on liquid crystal type thermometers work well.

Oh ok awesome. I thought there was something amiss there, thankyou for your help.
I have a glass canopy, aswell as a suction cup glass themometer, but when i stick my hand in the water, it feels unusually warm, although the thermometer measures 80, until i take the lid off, bout 20 minutes later, it will read 77, so... i guess then that I'll leave my canopy on.

Thanks for your help :)
