Top of tank side cleaning

Thinking of getting started again, and have looked at the acrylic tanks (they are new to me).
They seem to have a sealed cover in place with a reduced size opening.
Having fought wars with algae in the past, and wonder how are the upper inside surfaces on the walls reached to scrape the green stuff off?

I have had several acrylic tanks and really never had a problem cleaning them. My tanks were 125 gallon and a 100 gallon. I had no problem getting my hand and arm in position to use a pad for acrylic tanks to clean the walls or top.. You must remember they scratch real easy so no abrasive pads on sand etc on the acrylic. I like them because they are much clearer to view thru compared to glass. Great tanks as long as you are aware of being careful about scratches inside or outside. Thanks
