Tetra Aqua Easy Balance

Hi Was wondering if anyone has experience in using the Tetra Aqua Easy Balance witht he Nitraban Granuals? I added it to my 20 gal tank that houses my 3 black moores. I noticed that the granuals have stuck to their slime coat and it makes them look like they have ick! Im sure they donot have Ick (I use Aqarisol as a maintenance) and is just the granuals but is it going to cause them problems? Burn their skin etc?? And how do I get it off them? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

yea...i heard about that...the lfs told me to stay away from it cuz it would stick to the fish...bummer....

i use it every week as thats what i was told was best but if thats the case i dont fink i will any more,

Hi Fiona! I heard good things about it too but it just concerns me that the granuals stuck to thier slime coat and you can see the granuals floating through the water it cant be good for their gills, Would be like breathing in a sand storm!

well yeah that what i thought. it dont look good when ya put it in.
i dont think il'll use it any more, i'd rather get my hands dirty and clean the tank than put stuff in that might harm the fish.......
