Tap water filters

Thoughts? Opinions? I'm thinking about picking one up since my water is hard. Are they a waste of money?

Depends. The best systems are the Reverse Osmosis units tht fit either under the sink or near where the water enters the house in the basement. Most faucet units are designed with a single purpose, be it to remove odors, rust, taste, or particulates.
