Question Tank stand top question

I'm going to be adding either a 55 or a 75 gallon aquarium in a month or so once some room renovations are completed. In the meantime I'm going to build the stand. To provide flexibility, my plan was to build it 49" wide by 20" deep with a very solid top (at least 3/4 " plywood braced) to accomodate a 55 if needed since they are only 12 3/4 inches deep. I know most tank stands are open in the center since the load bearing points are along the edges. Is there a need to provide any ventilation holes in the center of my solid top to address condensation, etc. under the aquarium?

Thanks.

I would say no to having holes in the wood under the aquarium as i have never found that condensation builds up there, what i would suggest tho is the usual rubber mat or polestirene sheet inbetween the stand and tank tho.
