| || | Tank Blow out
I was given a 120 gallon used tank last week. One of the side panels of glass was loose so I removed it cleaned it up and used clear liquid nails to to essentially glue it back together. I glued it yesterday mid day so when I got home today the first thing I did was try to fill the tank (out side) to see if it would hold under the pressure of the water. Of course it did not hold. Once the tank was almost full it started to leak and blew out. I have no idea what to do next or what to try. It is an older tank and a 120 gallon tank is expensive. Should I trash it or what should I do to fix it? I have never had a tank bigger than 40 gallons and never come across this problem. I am just glad I tested it outside so my wife could not kill me. I would love to hear any and all suggestions.
